UFC 6 Cronus Zen Setup on PS5

Establish a working PS5 controller connection before tuning Knockout. The script file and console connection are separate parts of setup: loading a file cannot fix a controller that the console does not accept.

What you need

  • UFC 6 on PS5 and your Knockout download.
  • Cronus Zen, a supported controller and USB data cables.
  • A computer with the current Cronus programming tools.
  • The hardware and configuration required by your chosen current PS5 connection method.
  1. 1

Check the current PS5 connection method

Cronus's current PS5 guide lists Zen Link and a bypass method. Read its requirements for your console and controller before connecting. Follow one complete method; do not combine steps from older tutorials with a different firmware or connection path.

Prepare the Zen on your computer

Use the PROG connection for normal Zen Studio Live use and follow the app's connection prompt. If firmware work is required, use the separate guided update procedure and reconnect normally afterward. Keep your existing script files and settings before changing firmware.

    Program your Knockout file

Keep the original download from your Whop access. Open the UFC 6 GPC file in Zen Studio Live, compile it and save it to an empty device slot. Wait for programming to finish, select that slot and check that the expected combo entries appear. Keep a note of the file, slot and supplied preset controls.

Connect to PS5 and verify ordinary input

Complete the official steps for the method you selected. Confirm the controller can navigate the console and operate ordinary in-game controls before enabling a combination. If it disconnects or stops responding, return to the connection guide rather than changing combo timing.

  5. 5

Verify controls, stance and one combo

Check ordinary movement and strikes first. Open Knockout's menu with L2/LT + Options/Menu, enable your selected combo and match Southpaw to the stance you are using if the setting is included. Close the menu, press the documented preset control once and release. Start with the default timing and a fighter who can perform those moves manually.

Save and confirm the same setup after reconnecting

Close the menu to save changes. Record your fighter, stance, activator and any Hold/Wait values. Reconnect, return to the same slot and repeat your baseline combination. Add a second preset only after the first one behaves as expected.

Platform notes

  • -PlayStation labels in this guide refer to the physical controller buttons. Cross is the bottom face button.
  • -If you use a different controller through the Zen, match the layout used when creating your script and check that controller's compatibility.
  • -A repeated disconnection with ordinary inputs is a connection issue to investigate before editing the script.
