Load Knockout in Zen Studio: UFC 6 Script Installation
Install your Knockout GPC file, save it to a Cronus Zen slot and verify it loads before connecting to UFC 6 on PS5 or Xbox.
Installing Knockout has two separate parts: programming the script onto the Zen and connecting that Zen to your console. A successful download does not mean the device has been programmed. Work through installation first, then use the PS5 connection guide or Xbox connection guide.
Before you start
Have your Cronus Zen, a USB data cable, access to your purchasing Whop account and the Knockout download ready. Keep the original downloaded file in a folder you can find again. If the delivery is a ZIP archive, extract it before opening the GPC file inside.
Download the supplied UFC 6 file through your purchasing account. Keep its control reference alongside the file so you can check the included preset inputs on the device.
Connect to the programming tools
Open the official Zen Studio Live app in a supported Chromium desktop browser. Connect the device following the current Cronus quick start. Allow the browser's device connection prompt when it appears.
If you already use the Windows legacy application, follow its Compiler and Programmer workflow. Live and Legacy use different panel names; instructions mentioning Editor and Device Slots refer to Live. Avoid having both applications try to control the device at the same time.
Firmware updating and loading a script are different operations. If the app asks for a firmware update, follow its guided process, reconnect normally afterward, then continue with the script. Use the firmware required by your current tools rather than a version number from an old video.
Open, compile and program the file
- Open your downloaded
.gpcin the Editor in Live, or the Compiler in Legacy. Confirm you opened the UFC 6 file you intended to use. - Compile the file and read the result. If it fails, keep the exact error text and re-download the original file before trying code changes.
- In Live, assign the compiled script to an empty Device Slot and save it to the device. In Legacy, assign the script in Programmer and use Program Device.
- Wait for programming to complete before removing the cable. Saving a source file on your computer is separate from writing a device slot.
- Select that slot on the Zen. Check the display and open the script menu to verify the expected combo names are present.
Use an empty slot for your first installation so you can distinguish the new script from older files. If there is no free slot, back up the existing configuration before replacing one.
Verify the installation before tuning
Connect your console using its platform guide. Check ordinary controller input first, then test one included preset. If normal input fails, return to the connection setup. If normal input works but the combo does not, check the active slot, enabled preset and supplied activation control using the controls reference.
Keep timing at its downloaded defaults for this check. Changing timing and stance together makes it difficult to tell whether installation succeeded. Once the file works, follow the first practice session.
FAQ
Do I play UFC 6 on the computer used for installation?
The computer programs the Zen. These Knockout setup guides cover playing UFC 6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Why does the old script still appear?
Check that you programmed the new file into the intended slot and selected that slot on the device. Opening a file in the editor alone does not replace the active script.
Should I edit the code to fix a compiler error?
First confirm the file is the complete original download and record the error with your software version. Ask support with those details before changing the script.
