Start with a supported Xbox controller and a wired connection you can verify. Once ordinary inputs pass through the Zen, select Knockout and test one combination before adding more settings.

What you need

  • UFC 6 on Xbox Series X|S and your Knockout download.
  • Cronus Zen and a supported Xbox controller for the chosen connection method.
  • USB data cables and a computer for programming the Zen.
  • A written record of your combo activators and controller layout.
  1. 1

    Check your exact controller model

Cronus lists USB and the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Xbox Series controllers; Bluetooth is not supported. Begin with USB for the initial check. Consult model-specific instructions if you use a licensed third-party controller.

    Program your Knockout file

Keep the original download from your Whop access. Open the UFC 6 GPC file in Zen Studio Live, compile it and save it to an empty device slot. Wait for programming to finish, select that slot and check that the expected combo entries appear. Keep a note of the file, slot and supplied preset controls.

Follow the full script installation guide →
  3. 3

    Configure the Xbox connection

Connect the console through the Zen's CONSOLE/PC port and use the controller port and output settings in Cronus's controller instructions. A standard wired Xbox setup uses the controller on A1. Follow the additional authentication instructions if you are using a crossover controller.

Check input before running a combo

Verify normal buttons and sticks in the console and game. If those fail, test a known data cable and the controller directly on the console. For persistent authentication issues, check the official connection troubleshooting before changing the script.

Verify controls, stance and one combo

Check ordinary movement and strikes first. Open Knockout's menu with L2/LT + Options/Menu, enable your selected combo and match Southpaw to the stance you are using if the setting is included. Close the menu, press the documented preset control once and release. Start with the default timing and a fighter who can perform those moves manually.

Save and confirm the same setup after reconnecting

Close the menu to save changes. Record your fighter, stance, activator and any Hold/Wait values. Reconnect, return to the same slot and repeat your baseline combination. Add a second preset only after the first one behaves as expected.

Platform notes

  • -L2 means LT and R1 means RB on Xbox. Options means Menu; PlayStation Cross/Circle correspond to Xbox A/B.
  • -Use the supplied control reference for your script. The Xbox X button is not the PlayStation Cross button.
  • -A script slot being visible does not prove that the console is receiving controller input. Check ordinary controls first.
